Spa Treatments
Anti-Cellulite Massage - A concentrated massage, focusing on any area affected by cellulite. Using an anti-cellulite cream as opposed to oil, usually lasting 30-45 minutes the body is left invigorated and fresh through the stimulus of blood vessels and the toning effect of the anti-cellulite cream.
Aromatherapy - Meaning treatment through scents. This holistic treatment uses plant oils which are combined with facials, massages and body wraps. These scents can be used to reduce tension, alleviate pain and aid relaxation. Typically treatments last for 30 minutes and are tailored to each specific clients needs and desires.
Cleansing - The removal and reduction of toxins in the body. Toxins abate the natural healing process of the body, by removing toxins such as saturated fats, alcohol, tobacco and sugars can leave the body refreshed and feeling a natural high.
Deep-cleansing - Using either machines or manual manipulation this treatment purifies and rejuvenates skin through the removal of toxins and blackheads from the skin. This treatment can be delivered either through a facial or focused massage.
Essential Oils - Scented oils are removed from natural fruits and plants and used directly on the body, generally through massage. These oils aid regeneration of cells and encourage nutrients, each treatment is bespoke to each client.
Facial - A combination of massage, exfoliation, toning and moisturising of the face and neck. After treatment skin is left feeling warm, fresh and rejuvenated. A gentleman’s facial can also include a wet-shave.
Hamman -Turkish-style steam bath, which can be categorized as a wet relative of the sauna.A person taking a Turkish bath first relaxes in a room (known as the warm room). Bathers may then move to an even hotter room (known as the hot room) before splashing themselves with cold water. Bathers finally retire to the cooling-room for a period of relaxation
HydroTherapy - A rehabilitation treatment used to relax and improve circulation. Treatments are taken in varied baths and spas and are customized to meet each clients requirements.
Lymphatic Drainage Massage - A delicate form of massage aimed at stimulating the Lymphatic system to drain toxins and improve blood flow. This stimulation aids the body’s ability to be more effective in its ability to absorb nutrients. Which in turn improves the body’s immune system and rid the body of toxins.
Massage - The manipulation of either focused areas or whole body. Massage is available with a combination of treatments ranging from deep-tissue to cleansing. Using hands to alter the soft tissue, massage can be used simply for recreation or rehabilitation. Normally treatments last for a minimum 30 minutes.
Mud Therapy - The use of diverse mixtures of mud, rich in natural minerals to remove toxins and aid exfoliation. A lengthy treatment often combined with massage and facials.
Reflexology - Ancient Chinese, Egyptian and Indian technique using massaging, squeezing and pressure points to improve blood flow and circulation. Focused generally on the feet, ears or hands.
Sauna - Hot and humid treatment in a wooden structure. Originating from Scandinavia, the structure is heated to nearly 200 degrees Fahrenheit causing skin pores to open. Cleansing is recommended after treatment to remove all impurities and toxins.
SeaWeed Wrap - Treatment used to remove toxins from the body, as well as increase nutrient intake into the body through osmosis. Applied through a mask or a wrap the nutrients of the seaweed are absorbed directly into the bloodstream leaving the body fresh and revitalised.
Shiatsu - Japanese “finger-pressure” massage. Focusing on energy points in the body to stimulate the body’s ability to increase natural healing and restoration.
Sports Massage - Physical massage of specific areas. Manipulation can be intense, however this can alleviate pressure and pain from the muscles and aid rehabilitation.
Steam Room - An enclosed room filled with wet, hot steam which encourages sweating. This supple's the skin, cleanses the skin and relieves tension throughout the body.
Thalassotherapy - Derived from the Greek for “sea”, this treatment is used in conjunction with aromatherapy, mud and algae wraps and hydro-massage to reinvigorate body and soul.
Toning Massage - Focusing on specific trouble areas to increase blood circulation and reduce the toxin build up. Generally used on difficult toning areas such as the thigh or stomach.
Vichy Shower - Stimulates the body and replicates the sensation of a tropical rain shower. The warm water massages and soothes the body leaving you refreshed and invigorated. Normally incorporated with body scrubs a Vichy Shower is a restoring treatment which relaxes the body and revives the mind. The shower can be combined with exfoliations and wraps to make your treatment all the more special.
Waxing - The removal of unwanted hair from the body using warm wax.
