Spa and Leisure Facilities

This purpose-built health farm is situated in idyllic countryside, surrounded by beautiful scenery and tranquil parkland. Tranquil carp-filled waterways flow through the resort adding to the serene atmosphere. Using all nature has to offer, they create a most enchanting spa experience. Champneys are devoted to Spa and you will discover a whole new advanced approach to relaxation and rejuvenation.

Products from the new Champneys’ Collection, Babor, Tisserand and Elemis are used with style and finesse to perform an extensive menu of treatments. Even premiership footballers and athletes come from far and wide for Champneys’ specialist deep tissue sports massage treatments.

The £10 million refurbishment means the facilities are second to none. Swim in the 25m pool, allow the whirlpool to ease tensions, take advantage of the therapeutic Thalassotherapy pool, relax in the steam and sauna rooms and enjoy the separate male and female spa areas.

If you’re feeling energetic you can enjoy walks, cycling, tennis, outdoor chess, croquet, badminton, table tennis or football on the premiership-standard pitch.

Accommodation

With Spa at the heart of Champneys Springs the bedrooms are specially designed to satisfy your needs after a relaxing day in the spa. You will think you are still dreaming when you awake from a nights sleep here. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms, hairdryers, colour TVs, direct line telephones and a range of toiletries.

Superior rooms boast a patio or balcony and include complimentary use of robes. Grand spacious suites are prepared with fresh flowers, fruit and Champneys gifts, including a canvas bag with gold-embossed towelling robe and slippers.

There are two dining areas serving informal buffet style breakfast, lunches and three course dinners. You will feel right at home as people often enjoy breakfast and lunch in their robes.

Local Knowledge

Walk, run or cycle around one of the many lakes. You could visit the stunning 15th century castle – the setting for Ivanhoe. The National Forest is nearby, great for walks, as is the Ashby Canal. If you want city sites, nightlife and shops you should head to Nottingham.

The Seaweed Floatation is Champneys Springs signature treatment so I figured it would be a good choice. Everyone talks about how seaweed has magical powers - draws out toxins, provides essential nutrients… and so on! It was wonderful, a warming and entirely relaxing experience. Once you've experienced the wonders of seaweed there is no going back!!
