Spa and Leisure Facilities
The 5* Chester Grosvenor dates back to 1865 and is owned by the family of The Duke of Westminster. This Grade II listed building sits right in the heart of Chester - the beautiful walled city which was built by the Romans.
The Grosvenor Spa has five luxury treatment rooms, where they use Molton Brown and Elemis products to perform a wide range of traditional and holistic treatments that will rebalance and soothe your body and mind.
Take pleasure in the Thermal Suite experience… The aromatic herb sauna detoxifies and improves circulation and a themed shower awakens all the senses. Rehydrate in the Crystal Steam Room and allow the foot baths to take the weight off your feet. The salt grotto aids the respiratory system and crushed ice pours from the ice fountain to balance the effects of the sauna and steam rooms. This is Hydrotherapy at its very best.
There is a modern, fully equipped gym awaiting those who seek solace in fitness and exercise.
Accommodation
On arrival, the stunning Black and White exterior is an impressive sight. Within, you will be greeted by tasteful, contemporary décor and a warm welcome.
The 68 bedrooms are fitted with queen or king-size beds, luxury fabrics and fine crafted furniture, including a writing desk and armchair. If you opt to stay in one of the 12 spacious suites you will benefit from spacious designated seating areas.
For 18 years the gourmet restaurant has proudly held its Michelin star and after a refurbishment has recently re-opened under a new name; 'Simon Radley at The Chester Grosvenor'. This restaurant serves contemporary dishes in elegant surroundings. La Brasserie is a Parisian-style restaurant where you can enjoy an informal meal or coffee. Traditional afternoon tea is served in The Arkle Bar and Lounge, a comfortable lounge area serving coffee, lunch and evening drinks.

Spa Insider's Recommended Treatment
The Visible Brilliance Facial was exactly that – on arrival home – even my husband commented on the impressive results! My skin looked amazing and as a result I felt amazing. The bags under my eyes softened, the skin plumped up and firmed and just felt… incredible!
