Surrounded by 150 acres of enchanting Hampshire woodland and overlooking the tranquil lake, the Forest Mere mansion makes an idyllic spa location. With both indoor and outdoor pools, sauna and steam rooms and a state of the art Thalassotherapy pool your body is set for an absolute treat. The Twilight Rasul Mud Chamber and Serail-Bad Mud Treatment rooms are simply amazing.

The Forest Mere Health Farm won the celebrated Tisserand Aromatherapy Salon of the Year Award for its development of aromatherapy treatments. They offer a comprehensive menu of heavenly treatments using Champneys, Babor and Elemis products. There is also an Alternative Health Clinic, where you can receive therapeutic treatments such as Reiki, Graphology and Palmistry.

For the active there are guided walks and rambles, a tennis court, computerised state-of-the-art gymnasium and two fitness studios with fitness and relaxation classes. And when you are done you can relax in the lounge area or head to the Terrace Café which overlooks the lake.

Accommodation

Rooms are decorated in light soothing tones which clear the mind and allow you to fully relax. There are Standard, Superior and Premier rooms or Suites to choose from and all feature en-suite facilities, colour TV, hairdryer, direct line telephone, refreshment tray and champneys toiletries.

If you do desire to upgrade to a sophisticated suite you will discover luxury in abundance. Fresh flowers, fruit and Champneys gifts, including a canvas bag, gold-embossed towelling robe and slippers await your arrival.

There are three restaurants at Forest Mere… The peaceful Terrace Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and makes an ideal location for summer dining, with a patio that overlooks the lake.

Book into the exceptional Spa restaurant, where the chef uses ingredients, selected by you, to cook your lunch right before your eyes. The Spa Café offers light snacks and refreshments throughout day.

And finally the 'Mere' restaurant (formerly the 'Old House' restaurant) provide a 'Premier' fine dining experience – a five course evening meal.

The Hollycombe Steam Collection is stimulating day out – ride on the Steam train and fairground rides. Make your own pottery at Milland Pottery - a creative, enjoyable activity. Words cannot describe Jane Austen’s house, it is simply wonderful.
