Spa and Leisure Facilities
William the Conqueror created The New Forest in 1079 as a hunting quarter. In 1666 Charles II built New Park Manor in the heart of the forest and his Royal Coat of Arms is still hung there to this day.
As you enter The Bath House all the elements come together to heal your mind body and soul. The Spa treatments counteract the negative effects of busy daily life and help you discover inner equilibrium. The combination of heat, massage and oils reaches the unreachable.
Treat your senses in the Thermal Suite, where you’ll find a Sanarium, Finnish sauna and steam room. The Aqua Spa will refresh you to the core. Stimulate circulation in the Spa Pool, discover the Hot Tub in the aroma-theraputic Spa Garden. Dip your toes in the Kniepps Foot Bath and wash your cares away in the Klafs Experience Showers and Kneipps waterfall. Complete your aqua experience with a swim in the pool.
Accommodation
There are 24 bedrooms, each boasting big beds, sumptuous duvet and pillows. The Forest Room bathrooms have LCD TVs to view from your luscious bubble bath. Surrounded by luxurious fine fabrics and beautiful views, you will want to do more than just sleep in this room. There are three four poster rooms and they may well have played host to Charles II himself. Inside you will find antique furniture, leaded windows and scatter cushions aplenty.
The Stag Restaurant is located in Charles II dining room. This sun drenched room has wonderful views and serves good local seasonal English food. There is even a specially designed low salt and calorie menu.

Spa Insider's Recommended Treatment
I thought I would go for something different – Cue the Hay and Herb Detox. Warm, essential oils and muslin compresses filled with a cocktail of hays and herbs such as marigold, chamomile and lavender are used to perform an amazing back, neck, calves and shoulder massage. They work with pressure points to make you weak at the knees.
