This stunning Victorian House was a wedding gift, built by lord Walsingham for his daughter. Aldwark Manor is surrounded by all the simple pleasures in life with 120 acres of seemingly endless Yorkshire countryside on the doorstep but the simple life stops there. As you enter the spa you will appreciate the care and attention required to create such a peaceful sanctuary.
Swim at your leisure in the indoor pool, relax in the steam room and sauna, invigorate your senses in the spa bath, wash away any tension in the tropical scented showers, bask in sunshine in the solarium or hideaway in one of the two relaxation areas.
Alternatively you may wish to tone up in the gym or squeeze in a round of golf during your stay. But however you choose to invest your time here, make sure you treat yourself to a luxury spa treatment from their tempting menu of therapies.
Hotel & Accommodation
The attention to detail does not stop there, the 55 dreamy bedrooms are designed with you in mind. The rooms are divided between the Old Hall, where guests enjoy four poster beds and traditional furnishings, and the Contemporary Wing, where you will be enveloped in style and sophistication. All rooms feature en-suite facilities, hairdryer, Sky TV, direct dial telephone, tea and coffee making facilities, trouser press or ironing facilities and broadband internet. You can also upgrade to deluxe rooms, junior suites and suites. Suites offer spacious lounge areas, stunning views over the golf course and two of the suites have their own private terraces. The Brasserie was awarded 2 AA rosettes and promises delicious food and superb service. The Terrace offers bistro style dishes and there is also a terrace for alfresco dining. And the Squadron Bar has golf course views and is a popular spot for afternoon tea.
