Spa & Leisure
The spa at Ashdown Park Hotel is a newly designed barn-style addition to the main building, which complements the long-standing architecture. It is intimate and very romantic and includes a pool, sauna, steam room and a gym amongst its facilities, in addition to the tennis courts, croquet lawn, indoor golf nets, putting green and jogging trails across the rest of the grounds.
A lot of care and attention has been paid to the treatments, in which they use their own product line, and for a supplementary fee you can choose a specific oil from their collection.
Please note aqua class take place every Monday and Friday from 10.45-11.45am. Guests can join in for an additional charge of £5 per person depending on availability. The Jacuzzi remains open during the class as does the gym etc
Hotel & Accommodation
Ashdown Park Hotel has served as a hospital, university, home for soldiers, and a preparation centre for nuns, and although the spa area is new, the place as a whole retains a historic vibe. Today, the hotel has 106 rooms and suites, and is surrounded by 186 acres of land including the hotel’s own 18-hole golf course, with the New Forest beyond.
The main restaurant is the award winning Anderida Restaurant, where all meals are served, including dinner, which is a formal affair where men are asked to wear jackets and avoid jeans. The food is well deserving of its credited reputation, and there is a fantastic feeling of ceremony – very traditional service matching classical fare. There is also a Drawing Room with roaring fires, and the Fairways Lounge in the Country Club.
