The original sixteenth century hunting lodge that constitutes the body of Belstead Brook Hotel sets the tone for a relaxing environment in the heart of rural Suffolk. The hotel’s leisure club has all the facilities to wind down with a swimming pool, whirlpool, steam room, sauna, solarium, as well as weight training and cardio-vascular equipment. There is also a comprehensive list of treatments on offer at the Body, Mind & Soul Therapeutic Spa including facials, manicures, pedicures, massages and reflexology.
Hotel & Accommodation
Homely and incredibly pretty, the eighty-eight rooms at Belstead Brook are spacious and individually decorated but with an on-going theme that belies its past. Of course, being a hunting lodge it is only fitting that the hotel sits in nine acres of private land, dominating the view and adding to the calm ambience that the house exudes. There are two options in terms of dining: the intimate, oak panelled Manor restaurant serves seasonal produce and is particularly proud of its wine selection; while The Garden Bar is a more casual setting for light meals and locally brewed Adnams Draught Best Bitter.
