Spa & Leisure

Taking inspiration from its coastal surroundings, the spa at Chewton Glen is dedicated to holistic lifestyle programmes and indulgent treatments, and has a plethora of awards for its efforts. It isn’t all chilling out by the pool though, there is a gym as well as classes including yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates, Physio-Flex, tennis, golf, croquet, jogging trails, beach walks and personal training ‘buddies’ – which makes working out sound all the more friendly.

This all sits alongside a Romanesque ozone treated pool, hydrotherapy spa, saunas, steam rooms, an outdoor whirlpool, drench showers, a relaxation room, and 10 treatment rooms. Skincare comes courtesy of Linda Meredith and Ren products, and The Grooming Lounge offers Jessana manicures, Zen pedicures, tanning and make-up. Treatments themselves are thanks to a working partnership with organic brand, ilā.

Hotel & Accommodation

A five star, country house hotel surrounded by 130 acres of Hampshire countryside on the edge of the New Forest National Park, Chewton Glen is just a short walk from the sea, and is a proud member of the Relais & Châteaux collection of hotels known for their high standard of service. There are 70 rooms and suites, all featuring contemporary design that’s sympathetic to the traditional architecture of the building, and most of which have their own terrace, balcony or private garden. Alternatively, for the ultimate in relaxing, luxury experiences, they have The Treehouses, set high among the trees in a secluded valley.

The hotel’s Vetiver restaurant is also celebrated in its own right, as a Three Star Sustainability Champion from the Sustainable Restaurant Association, ensuring the quality of ingredients, as well as holding three AA Rosettes, and a place in Tatler’s Restaurant Awards in 2012. The menu employs the best of local ingredients in an elaborate array of dishes brought together by Head Chef, Andrew Du Bourg.
