In the grounds Danesfield House Hotel’s estate – just a short distance from the main hotel, the spa is a building formed of clean lines and contemporary design adding to the escapist vibe that the destination does so very well. With a dedicated team who have a wealth of knowledge ensuring their health spa status, facilities include a gym, 20-metre ozone cleansed pool (limited use of chlorine), a Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, separate male and female relaxation areas, a hydrotherapy bath, a manicure and pedicure suite, and a Juice Bar.
Using CARITA, Jessica Nails, and Aromatherapy Associates product lines, the spa also has eight treatment rooms providing a selection of therapies including reiki, hypnotherapy, craniosacral therapy, and reflexology.

Between the chocolate box towns of Marlow and Henley-on-Thames, Danesfield House Hotel is a Victorian country mansion that was converted in 1991 to become the award winning venue it is today complete with a multiplicity of refined experiences surrounded by 65 acres of grounds extending into the Chiltern Hills.
Food is very special at this hotel, and it’s well worth the visit for this alone. The Michelin starred Adam Simmonds at Danesfield House, unsurprisingly holds the crown for being among the best dining experiences in Buckinghamshire and is offset by interiors designed by Anouska Hempel. With a view of the Thames, The Orangery is also open for all meals including afternoon tea, and between them the restaurants not only have a Michelin star, but four AA Rosettes as well!
