In acres of Cheshire parkland, one of the most relaxing features of the spa and The Mere is its total removal from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and the spa itself is an extension of this peace and quiet.
Facilities include tennis courts, a pool, gym, hydrotherapy pool and thermal zone complete with relaxation terrace, hammam room, sauna, salt room, steam room and a caldarium, and the range of treatments is equally comprehensive. Offering CARITA firming treatments, a Golfer’s Swing Massage, reflexology and a Rasul thermal mud haven amongst a host of other top-to-toe options, it caters to men and women alike and provides something for everyone’s relaxation needs.
Hotel & Accommodation
Set on the edge of The Mere Lake, the elegant Victorian building that constitutes the main building has eighty-one bedrooms and ten suites that survey the scenic beauty of the golf course.Rooms are a contemporary juxtaposition to the hotel’s exterior, characterised by earth tones and textured fabrics.
There are a number of dining options including Browns at The Mere and the Club Lounge and Bar, all overseen by Executive Chef Paul Jobling who selects locally sourced, seasonal produce for an all-encompassing menu. There is also a Spa and Lounge Health Club next to the leisure facilities, and the cryptically titled 11th Green snack and drinks bar for all those in-between periods.
