A sensory experience targeting sight, hearing, touch and smell, the Seven Colours spa combines a holistic approach to health with historic Mauritian culture. Facilities include a hammam, hydrotherapy pool, separate saunas for men and women, a manicure and pedicure parlour, six treatment rooms including three double rooms, two private Outdoor Suites and a Couples Suite with its own pool and relaxation area. There is also a gym, two pools and a pool for children.

Treatments extend from a wholehearted belief in the power of touch and the benefits of botanicals with aromatherapy being a key feature. The spa has its own range of products using essential oils derived from local plant life such as ylang ylang, aloe vera, vanilla, coconut and frangipani as well as high-tech active ingredients for performance lead results.

Hotel & Accommodation

Taking its name from 19th century naturist, Charles Telfair, the hotel’s 158 rooms and 20 villas are chic and understated … don’t misunderstand, the luxury element of the five star resort is unmistakeable – but between the French windows, and the colonial design are the sea views that remind you of its prime location in the middle of the Indian Ocean and on the edge of the unspoiled Bel Ombre beach … that, after all is what this place is all about.

Proving its worth in terms of hospitality, the resort has three of its own restaurants and a bar, although there are an additional eight in close proximity. Annabella’s in the style of a plantation home, sits on the edge of the Citronniers River and is a relaxed environment serving Mauritian cuisine. Meanwhile, Gin’ja serves Pan Asian fare with theatrical flair and the ultra chilled Le Palmier pool/beach bar serves snacks, salads, ice creams and drinks.
