Longhirst leisure facilities include 2 golf courses. 2 cricket grounds, floodlit all weather tennis courts, gym, hockey and football pitches. ( New gym in course of construction). The new Decoro spa offers the ultimate in relaxation with facilities including sauna, steam room, aromatherapy room, monsoon shower, foot spas, spa pool, five treatment rooms (including one double room). The lounge, relaxation and dining areas have been sumptuously and beautifully furnished with decor by the British designer William Morris. The Natural Empathy treatments are all individually tailored to meet client specific needs and are exclusive to Decoro Spas.
Hotel & Accommodation
There are several types of accommodation available within the Longhirst estate. Longhirst Hall offers tastefully decorated doubles, twins, superior and disabled rooms. All rooms offer ensuite facilities, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, free broadband, TV, hairdryer and direct dial telephone.. The larger superior rooms also include a king sized bed, robes, additional refreshments and enhanced toiletries. There are also 36 4 bed roomed houses on site furnished to either a 2 star or 4 star standard. These are ideal for group or family bookings.
Dine in the top quality Boyson restaurant which offers menus using local Northumberland produce; relax with drinks in the new Collingwood Bar or unwind with afternoon tea in the drawing room. Longhirst really is the destination for a perfect spa break.
