The 1,065 acre grounds at Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf & Spa lend themselves to relaxation and enjoyment. From the moment you drive through the majestic gates and wind your way up to the magnificent house through acres of beautiful gardens and woodlands, you already feel totally relaxed.
Guests can let their cares bubble away in the huge Hydrotherapy Pool, which is linked to a beautiful indoor swimming pool which has panoramic views over the picturesque woodland. Watch the pheasants pecking at the ground while you lie back on the luxurious loungers and marvel at the stunning architecture. Make the most of the heat therapy suite, including a Sauna, a Steam room and a Saunarium, whatever you choose to do the stresses of life will seem a million miles away.
Luton Hoo’s six Treatment Rooms and gorgeous relaxation lounge are housed in a breath taking part of the old stable block, complete with traditional features, such as open fires and large windows. Each treatment room boasts the latest in spa technology, including lights that change colours depending on the stage of the treatment. The relaxation room has a homely feel that will definitely send you to sleep while you watch the display of stunning tropical fish in the centre of the room.
For those who want to take part in something slightly more active, Luton Hoo has a great Fitness Studio with the latest gym apparatus including the ‘Technogym Wellness System’.
Hotel & Accommodation
Luton Hoo enjoys a beautiful rural setting. The River Lea snakes through the grounds, creating two lakes covering 50 acres. Mature trees grace the parkland including several sweet chestnut trees more than 300 years old.
This combination of tranquillity and accessibility makes Luton Hoo a popular destination for leisure breaks and business functions of every kind.
The hotel boasts four separate wings in which guests can stay depending on their requirements. The mansion house incorporates five State Suites and four Principle Suites as well as Master Bedrooms, Mansion Suites, Junior Suites and Deluxe Bedrooms – each authentically styled in keeping with the original decoration found in the house and each with breathtaking views over the surrounding English parkland.
A short walk from the Mansion House, the Parkland Wing houses 38 air-conditioned bedrooms and suites, each equipped with flat-screen LCD television and broadband. Bedrooms and suites on the ground floor enjoy their own private terraces. The Roof Garden Suite provides breath-taking views of the grounds.
The Adams Wing house in the Grade II listed Robert Adams stable building provides the setting for the golf club house, spa and other leisure facilities. Within this building are 12 bedrooms and suites furnished and equipped with the golfer and spa guest in mind. These rooms have oak beam, vaulted ceilings and some are equipped with a four-poster bed. Finally, The Flower Garden Wing is named after the historic garden that was laid adjacent to the Spa. A total of 59 air-conditioned bedrooms and suites are perfectly located for spa and golfing guests.
As expected, Luton Hoo has a selection of beautiful places for guests to eat, a fine dining option that Spa Guests can upgrade to, but more conveniently located and housed within the historic Stables building, is the Adam’s Brasserie, offering a slightly more informal style of dining compared to The fine dining Wernher Restaurant. The décor of Adam’s Brasserie is bright and contemporary; its walls lined with stills from many films and TV shows which have been shot on location at Luton Hoo.
