Spa & Leisure
With floor length windows enjoying verdant views, the opulent 50,000 square foot spa is a dedicated cacophony of facilities for pampering with the style to match. There is a hydro-pool as well as the 20 meter leisure pool, sound-wave therapy beds, a thermal bathing suite complete with a tepidarium, caldarium, roman and heat saunas, tropicarium, and an ice fountain. For those looking to be a little more active there is also a gym, exercise studios, and Nordic walking.

Hotel & Accommodation
In a bend in the River Tees and dating back to 1774, Rockliffe Hall has quite a history – acting as a hospital and the backdrop for parts of Michael Caine’s 1971 film Get Carter. Today the 61 spacious rooms retain many original features, mixing contemporary furnishings with stained glass windows, marble pillars, and ornate ceilings.
Continuing the theme of timeless luxury, there are three dining options overseen by Michelin star chef Kenny Atkinson. The Orangery is the fine dining option with no less than three AA Rosettes, a daily-changing Market Menu and Tasting Menus with Sommelier matched wines. The Brasserie by Atkinson is a more relaxed environment providing simpler, local produce; while The Clubhouse adjoining the golf course specialises in British classics.
