The key attraction of Ufford Park’s spa is its Thermal Suite, which for anyone unfamiliar with a concept is a journey through different temperatures and hydrotherapy techniques – from the Jacuzzi-style pool with varying degrees of pummelling water-jets to aromatherapy saunas, steam rooms and experience showers to help you relax and unwind. There is a gym, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and swimming pool and as a family friendly venue, there are certain times of the day when there will be children in the pool. Of course, there are treatments available as well – with a comprehensive list that includes massages, facials, full body treatments, manicures and pedicures, there is also a Serail Mud Bath and Hammam treatments.
Hotel & Accommodation
Set in a hundred and twenty acres of parkland, from the outside Ufford Park exudes a friendly atmosphere with contemporary architecture that allows for an abundance of natural light. The golf club is a big part of the venue’s character – from the design to the jovial manner of the staff who prove to be one of its most prominent assets. There are eighty seven rooms some with triple occupancy and many boasting balconies – our advice? Opt for one with a view of the golf course!
The dining area is set in one of the venue’s function rooms and looks out onto the golf course – naturally – while the food is really something quite special. Simple, but with enough variety to satisfy all manner of guests, and staff are extremely accommodating when it comes to special requests.
