Spa & Leisure
With a philosophy devoted to combining health and total enjoyment, the Y Spa in Bedfordshire is a 21st century spa devoted to all aspects of the relaxation experience, whether for you that means a glass of wine and a slice of cake or something that errs more on the side of detox. The only rule is, ‘a bene placito’ … or ‘at one’s pleasure.’ While the hotel is home to a gym in the Harpers Health and Fitness Club, the spa itself was built solely for the purpose of relaxation, with facilities including an 11-metre hydrotherapy pool, and a complete thermal experience featuring a Kelo sauna, salt steam room, a steam room, experience showers, mist showers, glacier showers and a frost wall.
There is also a mud rasul, manicure and pedicure stations, 11 treatment rooms, and two relaxation areas, tellingly named, Big Sleep and Time Out. For that extra level of indulgence, there is also a private treatment suite, and of course, a full range of treatments and therapies available using Elemis, Murad, and OPI product lines. The Spa is over 18's, but children can use the leisure facilities.
Hotel & Accommodation
Wyboston Lakes is a contemporary hotel in all aspects, featuring facilities to suit business and leisure travellers alike, and showcasing modern design across all standard and executive rooms and suites including in-room tea and coffee facilities, and amenities to make your stay that little bit easier – irons, ironing boards, hair dryers. Following a £1 million refurbishment in 2015, their superior double bedrooms offer a luxurious home away from home experience.
The hotel’s Waterfront restaurant overlooks the estate’s south lake and has a locally sourced a la carte menu. The experience is a welcoming and friendly one, and like the rest of the hotel is a hosting chameleon that invites families and work colleagues alike. There is also an adjoining bar, priding itself on an extensive brasserie menu and wine list.
