Five Lakes has officially re-launched themselves as Crowne Plaza Resort Colchester – Five Lakes. Crowne Plaza hotels are in more than 50 countries around the world with 386 hotels and 105,829 rooms globally.

After undergoing a multi-million pound refurbishment they are now the first Crowne Plaza resort in UK with 194 newly refurbished bedrooms, 2 new restaurants and newly refurbished reception and atrium area and a new bar.

The 4 star resort is set within 320 acres of Essex countryside and is the perfect getaway you would never believe you were in Colchester.

With two 18 hole golf courses, a driving range, indoor tennis and squash courts, 2 gyms, 12 treatment rooms, great leisure facilities including a pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room and a brilliant relaxation lounge you won’t be lost for things to do and you certainly won’t be disappointed.

Stephen Mileham director of sales says ‘’ It is extremely important for us to look at what will make a stay here special for our guests. Were committed to ensuring our Spa offers the very best products, day treatments and full detox weekends.’’
