Who are you talking to? … Patrick Ukety

New Team Leader Patrick Ukety is a bit of a sports fan and amid the January drizzle thinks Mauritius would make a nice change of scenery.  Here he explains the best post-gym treatment and precisely what makes the ideal spa day!

What do you do at Spabreaks.com?

I am one of the team leaders and manage a team of five sales consultants.  I am also a sales consultant myself, managing customer phone and internet enquiries.

Which is your favourite Spabreaks.com destination and why?

At the moment Whittlebury Hall is my favourite destination: the customer service and spa facilities are excellent and I felt completely relaxed by the time I left.

Do you have a favourite treatment and if so what is it?

I know it’s not very different, but I love a deep tissue full body massage as I do quite a lot of sport.

What is your idea of the perfect day of relaxation?

Having a lie in, followed by a late breakfast, sitting in the Jacuzzi for a while, then swim, sauna, swim, lunch, Jacuzzi, gym, sauna, full body massage, Jacuzzi, nap, dinner … I think that about covers it!

What’s your top tip to get the most out of your spa day?

Try and get there as early as possible so you can get full use of the spa facilities; and look for a spa that offers lunch as part of the package.

What is your dream spa destination?

The Heritage Le Telfair Golf and Spa Resort in Mauritius: it’s an excellent five star hotel on a beautiful white sandy beach and is a great place to go if you are looking to incorporate a beach holiday with a spa break.

To ask Patrick and the team their advice on booking a spa break call us on 0800 043 6600 or visit Spabreaks.com.

A journalist by trade, Bonnie is the Editor for Spabreaks.com. Keen to spread the message on accessible wellbeing and a spa experience for all, she thinks green smoothies are somewhat overrated and her favourite spa treatment is an Elemis Couture Technology facial.
