As a former therapist, there isn’t much Zerrin Mehmet doesn’t know about the spa industry … So as Spabreaks.com’s Overseas Sales Consultant, if you are looking for a spa break in the sunshine or wanting to treat a loved one to a Recovery Retreat, this is one lady you absolutely need to know!

What do you do at Spabreaks.com?

I deal with all overseas and Recovery Retreats (spa breaks for anyone who has, or has recently been treated for cancer) enquires, it is my job to find spa goers a great holiday abroad at a fantastic spa hotel or that special getaway for our Recovery Retreat clients.

Which is your favourite Spabreaks.com destination and why?

Being a spa fanatic I have many but the two that stood out for me were The Vale Resort and Rockcliffe Hall, both venues have fantastic spas with amazing therapists who performed some of the best treatments I have ever had in the UK.

Do you have a favourite treatment and if so what is it?

My favourite treatment by far is facial – there is something very relaxing about having my face massaged, and as an ex-therapist I am all for looking after my skin!

What is your idea of the perfect day of relaxation?

I love to spend a day in my pyjamas with a good book and cup of tea; or of course at a spa with my mother and sister, they are massive fanatics too!

When do you feel at your most confident?

I love spas and have a real passion for them so visiting them and being able to recommend and  book the ideal place my clients are looking for is a real confidence boost, especially when they come back raving about their spa break!

Do you have a beauty product you can’t live without?

Yes! My Dermalogica MultiVitamin Power Firm, it’s great for lips in the winter and can also give a lovely glow under tired eyes!

What’s your top tip to get the most out of your spa day?

Get there early to make the most of the time you have.  The earlier you arrive the more time your body has to relax and by the time you leave you should be floating on Cloud Nine!
