In case you didn’t know, it’s National Chocolate Week next week. Personally we have never needed an excuse to have chocolate – waking hours will suffice. Nonetheless, anything that adds an extra reason to indulge gets our vote, and the Mercure hotel group’s ‘Chocolate Unwrapped’ spa package including a Divine Chocolate Martini, will do just fine!
Baileys Irish Cream – 50ml
Russian Standard 25 ml
White Cacao Marie Brizard – 15ml
Brown Cacao Marie Brizard – 15 ml
Squeezy bottle for the chocolate swirl
– Start by melting a portion of the chocolate and squeezing it into the cocktail glass to create the swirl, before allowing it to set.
– Pour the vodka, Baileys, white cacao and brown cacao in the Boston glass.
– Add ice cubes and shake.
– Pour into the cocktail glass.
– Finish with chocolate shavings on the top.
