Sabina

Ever wondered what the Spabreaks.com team do to relax?  We find out from a team leader why a pair of Marigolds and a cinnamon swirl are the key to happiness …

What do you do at Spabreaks.com?

I am one of the Team Leaders at Spabreaks.com and having been with the company for the last three years it is now practically home thanks to people I work with and my superiors.  I love working with people and always try to lead my team!

Which is your favourite Spabreaks.com destination and why?

In the UK it must be Pennyhill Park, it is an amazing venue and I can promise you it does what it says on the tin; it is a perfect place for a short romantic getaway and ideal for special occasions. From the moment you arrive you are pampered from head to toe and the restaurant will give your taste buds an unforgettable experience as well!  Remember to fill out your fresh bakery card for you chocolate croissants to be delivered to you first thing in the morning – simply amazing!

Do you have a favourite treatment?

It would have to be a facial. I have very dry skin and it is extremely difficult to keep it moisturised and nourished. I often suffer from redness and my skin around my face peels, so a facial every couple of months works wonders!

What is your idea of the perfect day of relaxation?

My perfect day of relaxation would be all about me, myself, and I … and perhaps a pair of my marigolds.  I would honestly spend it running around cleaning my house!   That, and obviously in complete and utter tranquillity surrounded by peaceful spa music and being pampered with a hot stone, full body massage followed by a one-hour facial and a deluxe pedicure combined with reflexology.

When do you feel at your most confident?

I can happily say that my confidence comes from a happy relationship and the amazing energy boost and positive attitude it gives me, as well as being part of an amazing company and working with people at Spabreaks.com, which is a huge thing.  Good exercise and pampering sessions are very important for me; like most women, I like to be pampered from head to toe and I do follow my exercise plan and try to maintain a healthy diet. I do believe that if you care for your inside it shows on the outside, but it is important to allow yourself one naughty day and eat chocolate croissants and cinnamon swirls!

Do you have a beauty product you can’t live without?

My favourite beauty products are Avene’s Deep Moisture Soothing Day Cream, which does wonders for dry skin, and Lancôme’s Visionaire Foundation – I cannot live without it.

What’s your top tip to get the most out of your spa day?

I love sitting back with a good book in the relaxation area. Food is very important and must have a wow factor, so look for somewhere with a recommended restaurant.  Ultimately, it has to be all about me and peace of mind and body.  This is the only time when you can be a bit selfish and spend some quality time with yourself so relax, sleep, eat and have some amazing treatments!
