Why it works … Elemis Pro Intense Lift Facial

Elemis

Targeting the neck, cheeks and jowls, Macdonald Linden Hall talks about the Elemis facial designed to lift and tone, thanks to the combination of two masks!

What exactly is the Pro Intense Lift Facial?

It’s a 50-minute treatment targeting sagging cheeks and jowls.  We start with a cleanse and tone then an eye massage.  We do a facial massage, two masks, and a scalp massage while the products are working.  It is finished with a neck and bust cream and a moisturiser.

Where does it come from?

It’s an Elemis treatment which has just launched in response to customer requests and has had wonderful feedback with 96% of customers asked reporting that their face is more lifted and firm, with less noticeable sagging, while 88% said it was the best facial they had ever had.

What is it supposed to do?

It’s a stimulating facial rather than a relaxing one and the main magic lies in the two face masks: the Pro Intense Lift Effect Jowl and Chin Mask is quite strange as it goes from one ear to the other and underneath the face to lift the skin and tighten the jaw line and chin.  The Hydra Active Soothe and Gel Mask follows which is a soothing formula rich in orange flower and elderberry extract and is a cocooning gel texture to hydrate.  They are the main components of the treatment that make the biggest difference.

Is there anything you do to enhance the effectiveness of the treatment?

We advise a course of treatments to get the most out of it.

Is there anything you recommend clients to do pre or post-treatment to get the most out of it?

Apart from having a course of treatments, try not to come along with a full face of make-up on as it takes time away from the treatment to remove it.  Also, try not to apply make-up for 24 hours afterwards.  We will also recommend aftercare products.

Is there anyone you particularly recommend the treatment for?

It’s particularly good for women who are concerned about the elasticity of the skin on the lower part of their face and is favoured by women over 50.

Is there anyone who shouldn’t have this treatment and why?

If you have had any surgery on your face, have conjunctivitis, any infections on your face, or if you are pregnant you should advise a therapist beforehand.
