Giving you a ‘higher, perkier bum with less wobble’, Fowey Hall talks about a Bootcamp for Butts that doesn’t require you to leave the treatment bed!
What exactly is Bootcamp for Butts?
It’s a four stage treatment lasting one hour, starting with a foot cleanse and reflex massage waking the lymphatic drainage systems ready for the bootcamp. Then we focus on the hip and thigh trouble spots and exfoliate with the Omega Face and Body Buff to improve the skin’s texture and the absorption of the products. This is followed by Pro Strength 30% Fruit Acid Peel which will exfoliate even further, stimulating collagen fibres, rehydrating, and making way for the Shrink-To-Fit cream and alginate mask which improves the micro circulation encouraging drainage of stagnant fluid and fighting the appearance of unsightly bulges. It improves elasticity and repairs the skin’s supporting structures. Tightening and toning, the treatment finishes with deep tissue massage to lift the butt and a combination of Mama Mio intense moisturisers to hydrate and soothe the skin.
Where does it come from?
It’s from the Mama Mio brand and is based on their original pregnancy treatment. As a result of its popularity this was brought out afterwards either for post pregnancy or just for anyone who wants a bit of a lift.
What is it supposed to do?
It’s lifting and toning the butt and hydrating the skin as well. It’s hard to explain but it gives a smoother edge around the line at the base of your backside – it basically gives you a higher, perkier bum with less wobble! It also melts away that cellulite look.
Is there anything you do to enhance the effectiveness of the treatment?
We use it step by step as specified by Mama Mio – it has to be a fast treatment to make it work so we don’t have music that’s too tranquil, it wouldn’t work if we treated it as a slow massage.
Is there anything you recommend clients to do pre or post-treatment to get the most out of it?
It’s a very self contained treatment but we tell clients to try to carry on having a course of six treatments afterwards within about eight weeks to get the most out of it. We also have a range of products that you can buy to help carry on the effects at home and help reduce water retention and cellulite. We also have a product for stretch marks which is brilliant.
Is there anyone you particularly recommend the treatment for?
It’s great post-pregnancy, but generally anyone who is concerned with fatigue on their legs and bum and are in need of a bit of a lift and plump in that area.
Is there anyone who shouldn’t have this treatment and why?
It isn’t for anyone who is currently pregnant because you have to be lying on your front for most of it which would be very uncomfortable, and there are risks as well. Anyone with a serious illness, recent operations, or blood clots is best to speak to a doctor first. Otherwise, anyone who is allergic to iodine or shellfish should avoid it.
