We all like roses around Valentine’s Day, but frankly we prefer the kind that make our skin glow with newfound vitality. Here, Danesfield House Hotel tells us what their Rose Infinity Facial is all about …
What is the Rose Infinity Facial?
The treatment is 1 hour and 25 minutes minutes long, starting with a cleanse and an enzyme peel while we do a scalp massage for around 10 minutes. There is a massage around the shoulders and the face, there are two masks, and then there is the massage with cold stones followed by serum, eye cream, and moisturizer to finish.
Where is it from?
It’s an anti-ageing facial from Aromatherapy Associates, a British brand, where products are ‘wild crafted’, so all ingredients are from its place of origin. The treatment has won prizes because of its Telomere technology and products work on a cellular level, helping to repair the skin. They are all active plant ingredients that stimulate collagen production and there is stimulating massage, micro-current, and the use of cold stone as well. The mixture of these helps products to penetrate a lot deeper into the skin.
What is it supposed to do?
It helps to repair skin cells, boost collagen, and plump up fine lines and wrinkles. It has noticeable results instantly as well as long lasting effects.
Is there anything you recommend clients do before or after the treatment to get the most out of it?
Afterwards we recommend that you use the aftercare products at home including the serum, moisturizer, and eye cream, to really prolong the effects of the facial and get the most out of it. If you can have the facial once a month as well it will have a really positive effect.
Is there anyone you particularly recommend it for?
Anyone concerned with a lack of firmness in the skin and anyone who wants instant results. It’s particularly good for anyone aged 35 and over, but all ages can have it and will see benefits from hydration. It’s great before an event because of the instant results and it won’t bring you out in lots of spots.
Is there anyone who shouldn’t have it?
It’s fine for anyone however if you have a serious illness such as cancer then it is best to speak to your doctor before booking.
