With the summer coming up we all want to look and feel our best, and while being happy and healthy is ultimately the way to go, here are a few of the spa treatments that can help give us that extra nudge in the right direction!
When spa reviewer, Kath Hudson, visited Fowey Hall with her family, she followed a walk along the beach with a Bootcamp for Butts, a rigorous massage designed to lift and tone courtesy of the Mama Mio brand. Noticing that her skin was immediately smoother, with less dimpling on her derriere and reduced water retention, we are now keen to go the distance and opt for a 90-minute Bikini Bootcamp!
Tightening the skin and claiming to take inches off your thighs or targeted area The Vale Resort uses the Lipofirm treatment, imported from Italy, combined with a tape measure to prove the results at the end. It works by breaking down the cells that are filled with water and fat when you gain weight, and these are then removed from the body naturally. Combine it with a healthy eating programme (bring on the summer salads), and it can add that little confidence boost before swimming costume season, and to help you keep going with that 2014 fitness routine!
Thalgo Marine Wrap
Water retention is a nuisance at the best of times, but when the little summer dresses come out, it’s even more of an irritation than usual. So at Christchurch Harbour Hotel, they recommend Thalgo’s marine algae based wrap, to soothe skin, boost circulation, and kick start the Detox process. It leaves skin brighter and is highly recommended for slimming – particularly if you combine it with drinking lots of water to flush out any toxins. Perfect pre-holiday treatment!
