On the banks of the River Thames, the treatments at the runnymede-on-thames completely wowed Spabreaks.com co-founder Abi Wright. Here they explain just what happens in their Crystal Facial…

What exactly is the Crystal Facial?

Your treatment starts with a personal one-to-one consultation in the privacy of your own room. Once snug in your warm bed and duvet the therapist will gently cleanse your skin and then use a skin vision lamp to analyse it. This identifies skin type and conditions. The pampering then begins with an exfoliation to refine the skin on the face and décolleté, and a double cleanse using hot mitts and the ESPA Highly Nourishing Cleansing Balm – gorgeous! The gentle pressure massage is performed using the client’s selected aromatherapy oil over the shoulders, décolleté, neck and face using ice crystals and hot stones – depending on your needs hot stones may be used for ultimate pampering! A mask is then applied and while this nourishes and revitalizes the skin you will receive a highly relaxing and tension-releasing scalp massage which is magical! The treatment closes with the application of an appropriate serum, eye cream and moisturiser. Finally the therapist will show you the results of the treatment under the skin vision lamp so that you can see the results for yourself!

Where does it come from?

This is a runnymede-on-thames signature treatment, designed by a team of highly trained and experienced therapists to bring the ultimate in relaxation and pampering techniques and results. Products used are of from the ESPA range, and are of the highest quality ensuring the client achieves 100% satisfaction.
