The world of wellbeing might have exploded but there are a few gems that really stand out, and here are some of our favourites…
Crazy Sexy Kitchen by Kris Carr
Even Kris Carr’s biography is an outstanding story. The woman riddled with cancer who survived against all odds by devoting herself to clean living and eating, her books (and YouTube channel) are entertaining and full of energy while her recipes are brimming with happy, healthy and utterly enjoyable ingredients. Check out her Morning Glory Green Juice recipe, which is a firm favourite.
Scandilicious by Signe Johansen
This isn’t a health book, but between the fresh ingredients and the outdoorsy lifestyle that Signe Johansen had growing up in Scandinavia, there is something refreshingly healthy for mind, body and soul in these recipes. Recipes are remarkably accessible, utterly enjoyable and make for rather beautiful reading as well thanks to her beautiful writing style. Check out her Rasberry, Vanilla, and Ginger Smoothie!
The Body Book by Cameron Diaz
There’s something deliciously likeable about Cameron Diaz as she shares her formula for becoming happier, healthier and stronger. It’s not about one-size-fits-all, it’s about finding something for everyone. I defy anyone not to fall in love with her and her ideas, because here is a woman who loves cheese and carbs and makes you think you can do anything!
Now it’s your turn… which are your favourite healthy reads?
