You are surrounded by the Serra do Socorro – a vast expanse of golf courses, vineyards and abundant nature. These are the things that all holidays should be made of.
Right from the interconnecting family rooms to the range of activities including an equestrian centre and tennis courts, there’s plenty to keep you all entertained throughout the day, and a pretty spectacular 18-hole golf course for those who fancy a round.
As a personal favourite, there are few things that beat a really nice outdoor pool when the sun is shining. First thing in the morning when all is quiet, a swim is a blissful way to wake up, and here there are two outdoor pools to choose from. That said, even the indoor pool at Dolce CampoReal has a gorgeous view of the great outdoors, so the choice is yours. Decisions, decisions.
As if enjoying all of that countryside wasn’t enough, Dolce CampoReal is just 20 minutes from the nearest beaches on the west coast, and is just 30 minutes from Lisbon itself, or other areas to explore such as the medieval town of Obido.
Ok, so this is a bit of an extension to the ‘location’ point because awesome as the hotel is, and it really is, it is so well located that it’s a good opportunity to immerse yourself in the area. The wine routes of Oeste region are brimming with opportunities to discover a taste for the area (literally), and the surrounding cities and towns are brimming with history to take in as you explore.
