Well, when one Spabreaker recently complained about having big feet but remembered being proud to have the largest shoe size as a child, we decided that it’s time to start remembering why we were proud of our bodies as a child, that we might have forgotten as we grew up.
So, we asked other Spabreakers what they celebrated about their bodies when they were kids?
My H-wide feet which are so wide that it is almost impossible to fit into any nice shoes. When I was little I loved it because I could stretch my little toe apart from the toe next to it by at least a centimetre and a half. It was great when it came to trying on shoes because if there were any that mum made me try on that I didn’t like I would just stretch my toe out (she didn’t know I could do it), and suddenly they were too small – result!
