Year on year it seems to get harder and harder to find the right Christmas gifts for your nearest and dearest (although you never can have too many pairs of novelty socks). So what about something with real feel good factor?
Topping our list this year for foodie lovers with a penchant for wellbeing is Grayshott Spa’s recipe book Gut Gastronomy based on the wellbeing lessons of their in house team and focusing on the belief that all wellbeing starts with a healthy gut. In giving this gift it is a hint that you need to invite us over for dinner more often.
Another book for those looking to make 2016 a year of real change and personal development is Katie Phillips’ book The Self Love Affair: A Woman’s Guide to a Daring & Mighty Life. Straight talking, but warm and friendly, Katie’s book is an interactive guide to turning negative feelings and emotions on their head and taking control of your life. 2016 is looking rosy already!
Colouring books for adults are all the rage this year – if you haven’t got onto this trend yet then start now. Surprisingly relaxing (and with some serious self satisfaction going on at the end of it all), colouring in is the new meditation, so a year’s subscription to Art Therapy Collection magazine is the perfect place to start!
Last, but by no means least, you can’t go far wrong with a spa voucher (make it for two and there might be something in it for you as well)… delivered by post, email, gift box or carrier pigeon, it’s all about an experience you can look forward to… plus, and we’re not suggesting you do this, but if you haven’t got around to ordering by 11.59 on Christmas Eve, you can order by email and it’s still there on time!
