You’re relaxed and feeling your very best, so what could be a better environment in which to share some serious quality time with your other half than a spa? Bring on the treatments, good food and Jacuzzis, this is the place to feel loved…

1) Have a luxury rassoul at Foxhills

Coat one another in scented mud and while away a little time in a steam room… surely this is the stuff that true romance is made of? In all seriousness, a rassoul is one of the best treatments for couples because it isn’t therapist lead so it’s quality time relaxing and having fun together without the distractions of daily life. Ok, so you will look a little silly, but by the end of it you will feel AMAZING.

2) Have the best meal of your life

Are you the decadent sort, or the type that revels in seriously good food that’s good for you as well? While you’re probably thinking about facials and massages on your spa day, don’t forget that these are places with incredible restaurants so take full advantage of what’s on the menu with a leisurely lunch or evening meal. For example, check out the Michelin Star restaurant at Pennyhill Park – and don’t forget to book!

3) Do yoga together

Finding inner peace might be a tricky one to master, but a good yoga class like the one at Lifehouse Spa and Hotel is a wonderful way to feel your very best – limber up, chill out and if you’re anything like us have a proper giggle as you work your way in and out of all of those bendy poses. By the end of the class the feel good factor will be through the roof and the rest of the day together will be looking rosy.

4) Go for a walk

Whatever time of the year it is, getting outside in the fresh air with beautiful views is the perfect space for chattering about nothing and simply spending time together. Spas have a little known secret that we’re here to tell you – many of them have some of the most beautiful gardens you can imagine – so make sure you get out and explore them!

5) Go to the beach

Maybe even go for a swim if you’re brave enough. There’s something about being by the sea that evokes holding hands and looking into a bright positive future… plus it’s perfect for jealousy-making selfies (even though we think this is prime time to ditch the phone and enjoy a mini digi detox). Try Crerar Golf View Hotel and Spa where you can walk all the way along the beach to the nearby village with the wind in your hair and clear thoughts in your head.
