Kerstin Florian

The spa industry pays tribute to Kerstin Florian chief creative officer Charlene Florian this week after a battle with cancer.

Having worked for the brand for more than 20 years, Florian was known as a shining light in the skincare and spa industries, renowned for her positivity, creativity and kindness. First and foremost a proud mother and daughter, she was a lover of nature, travel and living life to the full, something that shined through in her work as she remained the embodiment of the Kerstin Florian ethos.

While her family, the brand and the industry mourn the loss of a much loved friend, we remain thankful for her contributions to the spa industry as well as the personal brand of magic that she brought to her life and work.

Kerstin Florian International promotes a philosophy of outer beauty and inner health inspiring a sense of wellbeing through naturally-sourced products with technically advanced ingredients. It is a family run company based in Southern California and was founded by Swedish born Kerstin Florian in 1978.

The news comes weeks after the loss of another industry leader, Aromatherapy Associates’ Geraldine Howard, who also lost her battle with cancer earlier this year. Kerstin Florian has said that in lieu of flowers, a charitable donation can be made to Cancer Research Institute.
