The spa is all about modern design for contemporary living with its floor-to-ceiling windows, thermal suite, and delectable Elemental Herbology products. Continuing the garden theme there are also a number of garden rooms at the hotel which are a bit like mini apartments, all around a herb garden in close proximity to the spa so you can wander over in the early morning in your robe, ready to use the facilities.
In a spectacular estate in the heart of the Cotswolds, Ellenborough Park is a 15th century property with impeccable contemporary design by Nina Campbell. It’s all about relaxed luxury so this is an escape for you and your other half to feel totally indulged, especially when you head to the Indian themed spa for a treatment courtesy of ila and ishga product lines.
A Hallmark Hotel just outside beautiful and historic Stratford, The Welcombe is an impossibly beautiful building that gives a strong sense of grandeur, but all alongside contemporary design and updates, particularly in the spa and Garden Wing rooms. The hotel is romantic thanks to the grounds and architecture, but equally thanks to a number of spa apartments, it’s ideal for visiting groups and small hen parties to spend some indulgent quality time together.
In 1000 acres of moorland and forested countryside, Slaley Hall is an Edwardian mansion which also has rooms in a contemporary new building, and lodge accommodation within the grounds, so it caters for a variety of styles and experiences. Key to its appeal is the splendour of the building and the location so make sure to go for a wander while you’re here. Thanks to the family rooms and lodge option the hotel caters well for a family mini break with a relaxing twist or for groups of friends looking for quality time together.
Luxurious and historic, The Grosvenor Pulford is all about texture, feeling and utter decadence. The Spa by Kasia has a neo classical vibe to give you a sense of its opulence, as well as an Asian Sensory Garden complete with Koi Carp for total meditation and relaxation. The restaurant in particular comes highly recommended and continues the Neo-Classical theme - it’s a wonderful option for couples looking for a romantic mini break.
Family friendly and elegant as well, Oulton Hall is a beautiful building in Yorkshire, surrounded by a 27-hole golf course and bringing contemporary design to the 18th century manor. In addition to the gorgeous grounds we particularly like the Champagne bar for pre-dinner drinks.
