Tried and tested: Payot Experience Facial

This year, the Regency Hotel Dublin introduced the luxurious Payot product line to their spa collection, adding a new dimension of decadence to their repertoire.

Payot-Facial 2

But you never truly know a brand until you’ve tried and tested it, and with the Payot Experience Facial a prize treatment in the collection, new mum of two Ellen volunteered to give it a go.  Here’s the verdict…

What did it involve?

It is an hour-long facial experience, which included a neck, shoulder, hand and arm massage – absolute bliss!

What it was supposed to do?

It’s designed to energise and stimulate the skin, leaving a fresh and luminous complexion. It’s an excellent boost for fatigued, dull and stressed skin.

How much information were you given?

I was asked if I have had a facial before, which I had, and then simply told to relax and enjoy the experience.  I was encouraged to ask questions if I had them, but because the facial and massage was so relaxing, I found I didn’t need any further information and just enjoyed everything in silence.

Was it adapted for you at all?

The massage element was adapted to the pressure I preferred, and I was asked about any skin issues before it started, so the treatment was as I needed it to be.

What did you want to achieve?

Relaxation!  I don’t normally have problems with my skin, and having two little children at home doesn’t afford me time out too often, so this was purely for me to relax.

Did you think it achieved results?

Yes, absolutely!  I felt completely relaxed and my skin felt amazing for days after; really hydrated and bright, so much so that people commented on it, which is always an added bonus.

Who would you recommend it for?

I would recommend it to anyone, it was so enjoyable that I will be going back for another one as soon as I can.  As it includes quite a bit of massage as well as the facial element, it’s a great treatment to experience a little bit of everything within an hour, so whether you’re a spa pro or new to the experience, it’s an excellent one to try.  I highly recommend it!
