The next time you’re wondering where to go for a boutique spa experience, consider The Spa at The Midland, which has recently been awarded Professional Beauty’s Residential Spa of the Year for a spa with 10 rooms or less.

Professional Beauty praised The Spa at The Midland from QHotels, which has been a favourite of Spabreakers since it first opened. Perfect for groups of up to eight people, the building has a wealth of history having welcomed many famous faces over its 100-year history.

The Spa at The Midland has a wonderful sense of character having combined modern design with that illustrious heritage, and when it comes to the spa, it is a really superb example of what can be done with space in a city spa to deliver an excellent spa experience.

The Midland

There are four thermal areas including a salt infusion aromatherapy steam room, a lifestyle shower, an Alder wood sauna, a Himalayan salt block wall, serene relaxation pool, and a swan neck fountain. There are also four dedicated relaxation areas and three sleep chambers which feature four hanging cocoons that can fit up to two people at once and two mini relax zones which are ideal for groups. On top of that there are eight treatment rooms at the spa, two are double rooms where therapists use ESPA, 3D SkinTech, and Jessica Nails products in.a whole world of rejuvenating therapies.

So what makes Professional Beauty’s opinion so important?

Well, it’s the self proclaimed home of beauty, spa and wellness producing market leading events, conferences, magazines and awards. They have a longstanding reputation in the industry and operate on an international basis with insight into the spa and beauty industry across the world.

Their magazine has a readership of of 24,500, so suffice to say they know a thing or two and have seen a few things on their journey so far and as a result, QHotels’ latest award-winning spa can be seriously proud of their achievement – we look forward to seeing them win many more!
