The school holidays are around the corner and we’re all in need of a little time out. Mum and dad want to relax and the kids want to have fun – thank goodness for child friendly spa hotels with creches, activities and space where everyone can have a break…

The Belfry, Birmingham

In the beautiful North Warwickshire countryside, The Belfry is a warm and welcoming hotel where nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is particularly child friendly, with family rooms with amenities including a baby bath tub and bottle warmer, activities including the Ryder Legends Mini Golf course and the interactive woodland walk, and a creche. Nearby attractions also include Drayton Manor, Alton Towers, and the National Sea Life Centre.

Slaley Hall - child friendly

Q Hotel – Slaley Hall, Northumberland

A grand country house hotel with beautiful grounds to roam in, Slaley Hall offers family rooms, inflatables and slides around the pool, children’s menus in the restaurants to ensure kids are happy and well catered for. There are luxury lodges to stay in within the grounds for that extra sense of privacy, and attractions nearby include Hadrian’s Wall and Alnwick Garden and Castle.
