InterContinental London The O2 Spa just opened a new manicure and pedicure room. It’s been in the pipeline for a while, since the spa opened a year ago, and it has two manicure stations and two pedicure stations with enormous pedicure chairs to relax into. The lighting changes the colour of the water to suit your mood, and they now work with CND nails as well as offering a regular finish. It’s elegant and goes perfectly with the spa.
“It overlooks Canary Wharf and the river…”
Situated around the O2 and perfect for those coming into London, it overlooks Canary Wharf and the river, and it’s perfect for combining with an evening out or a concert at The O2.
There’s the Sky Bar at the top of the hotel, and on the third floor there’s another bar area with a boat in the middle and floor to ceiling windows. When you sit down it almost feels like you’re on a boat in the water, making for a really pretty and romantic romantic vibe, but it’s also great for groups on a special occasion.
“There’s a bar area with a boat in the middle!”
In London it’s unusual to find such a large array of facilities and such a lot of space in a spa. The InterContinental London The O2 Spa has a full sized swimming pool, eight treatment rooms including two doubles that can be hired out and even used for proposals, a sauna, steam room, a relaxation pool with hydro jets, a relaxation lounge and 15-20 loungers so again it’s perfect for groups and a really unique offering for a London spa.
“They offer private use for 15-20 people…”
The spa is really well thought out and taps into exactly what London needed. It’s also very beautiful. They offer private use for 15-20 people, but it really has something for everyone – it’s romantic but also ideal for a girly group.
