There’s something about Africa that always seems to hold the most romantic charm. The wildlife, the heat, the novels and the hospitality, and as a new collection of spas in Africa launch on Spabreaks.com this year, here are a few glorious favourites to bring a little winter spa sun into your life…

The vineyard Africa

The Vineyard Hotel and Aquila Game Reserve, Cape Town

Bringing a fusion of modern design, history and wildlife together for a trip that spans two destinations, The Vineyard Hotel has teamed up with the Aquila Game Reserve to bring guests a spa holiday that includes romantic luxury overlooking the Liesbeek River, as well as breathtaking experiences at the Aquila Game Reserve which takes in a 10,000-hectare conservancy. Meanwhile, the spa experience includes two large swimming pools and the most extraordinary peace and quiet as well as treatments harnessing the medicinal powers of indigenous plants, flowers and herbs.
