Vegetarianism is the fastest growing trend in dining, the world over, and Cookies Cream takes it a step further. The Michelin starred restaurant is an experimental affair from Berlin, whose guests include George Clooney, Robbie Williams and many more, has landed at the beach resort, and is perfectly located on the beachfront.
Founded in 2007 by “Cookie” Heinz Gindullis, the pioneer of a refined approach to vegetarian cuisine, it has an international reputation as the hotspot of the German capital. Meanwhile, ‘Cream’ is Stephan Hentschel – the Chef synonymous with experimental vegetarian cuisine of the highest level and responsible for the innovative dishes that are made with fresh produce from the Sardinian restaurant’s very own vegetable garden.
Having won its first Michelin star this year for its extraordinary culinary creations, it seems suitably celebratory to have opened their latest restaurant overlooking the sparkling Mediterranean, to offer guests the foodie experience in a whole new environment
Cookies Cream is one of 21 restaurants available to guests at the Forte Village in the high season, with options including sumptuous buffets, show cooking and fine dining. Guests can indulge in everything from regional Italian cuisine to the gourmet delicacies of celebrity chefs such as Gordon Ramsay, winner of seven Michelin stars. It is also not short on lounge bars, exclusive cafés and trend-setting nightclubs.
