Why we can’t wait for the launch of The Park Spa at Warbrook House

In December this year, Warbrook House is opening the doors of the brand new The Park Spa. In the grounds of this magnificent country house hotel in Hampshire, this little haven of luxury has been purposely designed – here’s what you can look forward to!

Although the property is quite accessible…

…it feels as though you’re in the middle of nowhere. You arrive via a long driveway and reach an estate that’s nicely spacious, surrounded by fields where farmers keep cows, so there’s a sense of bucolic bliss from the moment you wake up in the morning. It’s a lovely setting and of course, the mansion house building is very pretty.

There’s a number of different aspects to the hotel…

…the mansion house, the grounds, and a purpose built space for conferences and events. The actual spa building is in a historic building called The Park, which was once part of stables. A spacious area, it will even have its own gardens.

It’s not a huge spa, but it is perfectly formed…

…It’s a more exclusive experience, not overrun with lots of people. There’s no swimming pool; it’s all about pampering. You come into the reception area and from there you can see the spa cafe, which will serve gin and bubbles (Prosecco and English sparkling wine), although you can also have healthy smoothies in the morning, breakfast, teas, coffees, lunches and light early evening dishes. It will all be freshly prepared by chefs on site, and there will also be the option for a full afternoon tea.

The hotel is part of the Countrywide Hotels collection…

…and as a brand they are really about supporting local and artisan producers, so many of the gins and wines available are local.

There are six treatment rooms, three of which are double rooms…

…There are manicure and pedicure areas as well as a lounge. There’s also a quiet lounge area with sofas and comfy chairs; it’s not your typical meditation room, but more a space to unwind. There are also heat experiences including a sauna and steam rooms as well as a gym.

One of the highlights is the Natural Spa Factory rasul mud room…

…which offers rasul journeys that are really nice for friends or couples – it’s big enough for two people. You are given a tray of products for cleansing, a facial, a mud mask, and a scrub, all of which are self administered. The whole experience makes for a really nice journey.

There is an outdoor garden with a decking area…

…two hot tubs that seat four or five people each and a fire pit, as well as lots of spaces to sit such as cabana beds, loungers and a dining area, with outdoor heaters and lots of blankets so you can sit outside throughout the year. The space is also open into the evening when it’s beautifully lit and romantic.

There is also a luxury manicure and pedicure lounge using OPI nails and Delilah Cosmetics…

…There are also plans to work with a medical partner on non-surgical treatments such as dermal fillers, anti wrinkle injections and facial peels etc.

The spa will be offering yoga on a small scale…

…for groups of around three or four people to start with, and then when the weather improves in the summer they will open that up to more people and do those classes outside.

The Park Spa opens on 3rd December with some beautiful Christmas spa day packages.
