Take a journey and get summer ready with a luxurious spa treatment at the exquisite Hoar Cross Hall. The treatment harnesses the essence of fresh summer flowers, the renowned healing properties of aloe vera, and sublime tiare flowers. It’s beautifully finished off with an aloe vera facial combining fig and orchid to restore radiance and vitality. The treatment as a whole promotes supple, smooth and luminous skin.  Here’s what you need to know…

What exactly is the spa treatment?

It starts with a welcome foot ritual using black soap and a kessa mitt exfoliation. The kessa mitt is Moroccan in origin and made of granular fabric, which is very effective for purification and blood circulation activation. Together they are invigorating, removing dead skin with products that are 100% natural, gluten free and vegan friendly.

Then warm Tahitian oil is drizzled over your back and the front of your body. This oil is infused with tiare flowers and aloe vera which moisturise the skin. It also has anti-ageing properties thanks to the presence of prickly pear and healing carrot oil. It can be used directly onto the body, in the bath and on hair as well.

You are then cocooned in warm towels whilst receiving an aloe vera facial including a cleanse, exfoliation, mask, scalp massage and moisturiser. Aloe vera has been used for centuries for its benefits to the skin. From South Africa, it produces an instantaneous ultra-moisturising effect while protecting the skin. Combined with fig and orchid, it enables the cell regeneration and a luminous skin texture.

Where does the spa treatment come from?

It’s inspired by La Sultane de Saba’s beauty rituals, secrets that date back to the time of the Queen of Sheba and Cleopatra. They’re ideas which have been passed down through the generations from mother to daughter. They merge tradition with the art of wellness.

Through its magical authenticity, unique products and techniques, it immerses your senses in age-old recipes and Eastern beauty treasures. It uses the highest quality natural ingredients to bring a sense of escape and promise of wellness.

What is the spa treatment supposed to do?

It’s an ultimate moisturising care treatment, from the tip of your toes to the crown of your head. The Tahitian precious oil, infused with tiare flower and aloe vera, nourishes the skin. The aloe vera facial provides deep moisturisation, protects the skin and enables the face cells to regenerate. It’s a complete relaxation experience.

Is there anything you do to enhance the effectiveness of the treatment?

All of the La Sultane de Saba range has been chosen to hydrate the skin for summer.

Is there anything you recommend clients to do pre- or post-treatment to get the most out of it?

After your treatment we suggest you visit the popular snooze room. It has the luxury of heated water beds. The warmth will encourage and complement relaxation in the body. Meanwhile, all La Sultane de Saba products are available to take home, so the love for this treatment doesn’t have to end in the spa.

The snooze room

Is there anyone you particularly recommend the treatment for?

This treatment will suit everyone as it’s a gentle relaxation experience. However, it’s particularly great for those who really want to hydrate their skin.

Is there anyone who shouldn’t have this treatment and why?

The Tahitian Experience can be adapted slightly if needed to ensure that everyone can enjoy it. We would always recommend guests seek medical advice before experiencing any treatments if they are undergoing any medical care and feel unsure. However, our reservations and spa team are also on hand to answer any questions.

Try the Tahitian experience in Hoar Cross Hall’s new Soak up the Sun spa break.
