In an enviable location close to the King’s Road, Chelsea Harbour Hotel sits overlooking the marina. As boats bob by in the summer sun, you could be forgiven for thinking you were somewhere else entirely. But this London spa hotel sits in one of the most fashionable parts of the city. Not far from Vivienne Westwood’s original World’s End shop and famed for its 1960s fashion credentials. So pop on your Mary Quants and head to the riverside, this is the place for a stylish spa day or break…
Overlooking the harbour, Chelsea Harbour Hotel is a contemporary building and a chic and sophisticated all-suite hotel. Each of the 158 suites, including four penthouses, boast views as well as luxuriously spacious living areas – a particularly precious commodity in the city. Style here is coastal chic meets urban glamour. Little wonder it’s been ranked one of the Top 100 Hotels in London.
The spa at Chelsea Harbour Hotel continues the theme of large windows, natural light and a sense of being by the water. The 17-metre pool has lots of seating around it, as well as swan neck waterfalls and body jets to soothe and relax the senses. There is a fitness suite, saunas and steam rooms in each of the changing rooms. The spa has six treatment rooms where therapists use the MONU VITRU product line. There’s also an on-site hair salon to ensure you leave in perfectly coiffed style.
Dining here is superb, and only enhanced by the view. At lunch, head to The Chelsea Riverside Brasserie which serves an Italian inspired menu. It boasts a wide range of choices including antipasti, pesce, pasta and carne dishes in a cool and contemporary setting. Meanwhile, The Harbour Bar is for stylish al fresco dining, drinks and afternoon teas. It’s dreamy and perfect for a date or simply hanging out with a friend.
Stylish and contemporary, while the hotel is romantic, the spa is best positioned for small groups of friends or mums and daughters. Together, you can’t go wrong visiting for a day spa experience or a city mini break. Either way, make sure you have lunch or afternoon tea looking at the water to complete the experience.
