Naturally, the hotel is best known for its golf courses. Having hosted the Ryder Cup in 2010, the three golf courses at Celtic Manor are amongst the favourites of devotees. Plus it frames the view from pretty much anywhere in the whole hotel.

Forest Jump for kids of all ages

If you’ve always longed to swing through the trees, Forest Jump is an adrenaline pumping adventure at Celtic Manor. Located in woodland on the Resort’s grounds, it is a combination of high and low rope courses, bridges, walkways, and challenging obstacles plus a daring pole climbing challenge for kids of all ages.

Built as part of the 2010 Ryder Cup Legacy to encourage more people to have a go at golf, the Resort’s par three pitch and putt course is ideal for juniors, newbies, or families looking for fun.

Fishing - peace and quiet at Celtic Manor

Guests have the opportunity to fish for salmon, brown trout and sea trout on the nearby River Usk. Their experienced ghillie is able to guide you in the skills required to fish this dramatic tidal river for salmon and sea trout, depending on the time of year.

Forest Nets for treetop adventures

Families love climbing through the canopy as you navigate a maze of nets in an adventure playground in the trees. From the smaller chamber for young adventurers from two years upwards, to the giant bounce zone with its forest lookout, vertical slides and ladder tubes, net ninjas of all ages can experience the thrill of an amazing bird’s eye view from the safety of the large enclosed Forest Nets, high in the treetops.

Rock Reactor - rock climbing with a difference

Light guides the way, sounds and music creates presence and atmosphere and the wall responds to your actions! By combining a standard climbing wall with technology from computer games, this gives experiences built on physical activity and the use of multiple senses.
