Hoar Cross Hall is a luxury spa hotel that prides itself on offering the best spa treatments available. For that reason, they introduced Dr Levy Switzerland Treatments this year. Hailed as a non surgical alternative to Botox bringing medical science and luxury experiences together, here they explain why one of their signature treatments, the Dr Levy anti-ageing hand treatment, works…

What exactly is the Dr Levy anti-ageing hand treatment?

The unique Dr Levy anti-ageing hand treatment targets the too-often-forgotten-about hand area. Our hands are one of the main areas that give away our age. This is because the clothing we wear seldom covers the hands and leaves them exposed to the harmful UVA and UVB rays of the sun, as well as other harmful elements of our environment.

During this treatment, the hands and arms are deeply cleansed and exfoliated using a specially formulated micro-surfacing cleanser, before Dr Levy’s patented Argan Stem Cell products work their magic to increase firmness and elasticity and tighten, tone and brighten the skin. Just one treatment will give you impressive visible results.

Where does the treatment come from?

Dr Phillip Levy heads one of Europe’s most prestigious private practices and boasts an array of awards and accolades. A dermatologist by trade, he was the first aesthetic Botox doctor in Switzerland.

His career has been driven by one mission: to help his clients delay cosmetic surgery by reversing the visible signs of ageing with non-invasive treatments and products.

Levy’s Medi-Luxe skincare brand to perform non-invasive yet results-driven treatments to target the main areas of signs of ageing. Dr Levy is now recognised as one of the worlds pioneer in non-surgical aesthetic treatments.

What is it supposed to do?

These ground-breaking treatments focus on the skin’s stem cells. You may not remember how your skin looked 20 years ago, but your stem cells certainly do. Your stem cells are like time machines and can reverse the ageing process. All they need is the appropriate wake up call. The Dr Levy ArganCallActiv patented formula is the world’s first, proven to stimulate dermal stem cells, your skin’s most powerful time machines. Within eight weeks of the Argan Stem Cell treatments, wrinkle depth decreases by 26% and skin density improves by 12%*.

Is there anything you do to enhance the effectiveness of the treatment?

Dr Levy also offers his Medi-Luxe products to use at home. We do recommend continuing with your Dr Levy skincare programme at home to maintain and further enhance your results. The entire range is available in our Spa Product Shop and your therapist will be on hand to explain every step of your personalised aftercare to you.

Is there anything you recommend clients to do pre or post-treatment to get the most out of it?

Your therapist will prepare your skin with the stimulating cleanser and exfoliator so that it is at its optimum to accept the products. After your treatment, just sit back and relax and leave the products on your skin to work their magic. As with most treatments, the more you have, the better your results will get, and we always recommend using the phenomenal home care range to increase your results.

Is there anyone you particularly recommend the treatment for?

This treatment is fantastic for ladies and gentlemen of any age who are concerned about the signs of ageing. Your skin is an amazing organ that continues to constantly regenerate itself.

Is there anyone who shouldn’t have this treatment and why?

Luckily, these treatments and products are fantastic for the majority of people to use and can be used on all skin types. However, if you have any concerns, our knowledgeable therapists always complete a consultation beforehand to ensure we have the most appropriate treatment for your concerns, and that the treatment is suitable for you.
