Heated loungers with a sea view

Last year, Spabreaks.com, launched a one of a kind collaboration with Celebrity Cruises called Wellness on the Waves. It brought luxury wellbeing to the high seas like it had never been seen before. This year, Wellness on the Waves continues to surf strong with the addition of the second cruise ship to join the elite collection, Celebrity Edge®.

There are 29 restaurants, bars, cafes and lounges to choose from on Celebrity Edge

Designer luxury on the high seas

The cruise ship offers an entirely unique type of experience for guests in the form of luxury wellbeing cruises. To start, rooms are the height of luxury accommodation that extends to the water’s edge at the click of a button, making the cabin 20% bigger and letting the sea breeze come drifting in. There’s a variety of room options available, from spa-inspired AquaClass® to cosy Interior rooms.  Each stateroom has Kelly Hoppen MBE designed neutral tones and features a 24-hour stateroom attendant for your every need.

Meanwhile, Suites are accompanied by a private paradise in the form of The Retreat. For the exclusive of guests staying in Suite Class accommodation, it features a private sundeck, pool, hot tub, and lounge available 24/7.

Sky high Michelin Star dining

Dining on the ship is a global culinary tour. There are 29 restaurants, bars, cafes and lounges to choose from, all curated by Michelin Star chef, Cornelius Gallagher. Favourites include the nature-inspired Eden, sky-high Magic Carpet and the Rooftop Garden Grill.

There’s a Float Room where you swing into a meditative sleep, cocooned in floating basket chairs; heated loungers and an infrared sauna.

Glitz, glamour and wellbeing

There’s no shortage of things to see and do on this sea bound Mecca. Entertainment and activities range from shopping at Cartier, Bulgari or Tiffany & Co to unforgettable musical performances, a 25-yard lap pool on the top deck, two storey martini glass hot tubs and private cabanas to lounge in.

The spa however, is the jewel in its crown.  A marble treat of Sea Thermal Suite experiences and decadent treatments, the space is decadent but harnesses the tranquility of nature. With an impressive 23 treatment rooms, there is plenty of space for guests to enjoy one or two of the 124 therapies available.

All that and set against an ever-changing background of ocean views and cultural experiences. It’s magic.
