Are spas open? What treatments are available? Do I have to wear a face mask? Is it safe to visit a spa when I’m pregnant? There are so many questions that spa goers want to know now that spas are re-opening after the Covid-19 lockdown. So what can we tell you?

It’s no secret that the last five months have had a big impact on the spa industry. However, it’s also no secret that we are all in need of a sense of healing – personally, professionally, physically, mentally and emotionally.

Supporting the industry and the people in it, and helping it to navigate periods of change, is something that we, at Spabreaks.com, have always been passionate about. As a platform that can seek to share the products that are available, get a sense of consumer demand and deliver that to our valued clients, there has been no period more challenging and more important than this.

For customers, we have worked to deliver as much information as possible as soon as we have it, regarding what’s available, safety procedures and what they need to do when visiting a spa in order to have a safe and relaxing experience. However, we also work closely with spas to meet their needs and connect them with the wants and needs of spa guests.

Speaking candidly about how Covid-19 has affected the spa industry, Spabreaks.com, and how we are working to try to support the industry as it recovers, our Founder, Abi Selby spoke to Sarah Camilleri, Founding Editor and Owner of European Spa Magazine on Instagram.
