Marriott Forest of Arden

If anyone has a knack for spotting the perfect location for a spa hotel and combining it with experiences for all occasions and all guests, it’s Marriott. Their Forest of Arden hotel near Birmingham is the perfect example, and here are five reasons why.

A location that’s the best of all worlds

Surrounded by tranquil woodland but just a short distance from the retail therapy and nightlife of Birmingham and Coventry, Marriott Forest of Arden offers the best of all worlds. It is home to two of the West Midlands’ best 18-hole courses, and you wake in the morning to peaceful surroundings. However, there’s plenty of activity and entertainment close by, whether you fancy a trip to Cadbury World, Warwick Castle or a day at the races.

Family friendly getaways

While spa experiences at the hotel are just for adults, one of the great beauties of a Marriott escape is that they cater for the whole family and make it easy for everyone to relax. Children are welcome in the pool at select times, there’s plenty of outside space (as mentioned) for them to run around in, and the restaurants welcome guests of all ages too. In particular, we recommend they try building their own sundae for dessert with in a range of ice cream flavours, toppings and sauces, in the Cast Iron Bar & Grill.

Easy wellbeing and relaxation

The hotel has a range of leisure facilities including a gym, a pool that’s suited to length swimming or leisurely soaking, a steam room, sauna and treatment rooms in The Cedarwood Spa for well-deserved pampering. It might not be a specialised spa destination, but this is very much a place that makes it easy to just unwind in whatever way suits you.

Marriott offers spa treatments for everyone

In addition to their regular menu of treatments, Marriott hotels have made a commitment to leading the spa industry when it comes to providing safe spa treatments and experiences for anyone who has experienced cancer. They are accredited by the SATCC and are part of the Spabreaks.com Safe Hands for Cancer Collection.

Perfect for groups of friends

With the space, flexibility of experience and range of rooms available, Marriott Forest of Arden is an ideal destination for group get together and celebrations with friends. The ability to go to nearby Coventry or Birmingham means that hen parties and birthdays can incorporate a night out as well as pampering and relaxation, at a destination that makes it easy for everyone’s preferences to be catered to.
