Like all of the Marriott hotels, Hanbury Manor excels at creating an experience that’s got something for everyone. Perfect for romantic escapes, family-friendly spa breaks and family getaways, here are five reasons to visit.

The Marriott grounds and the golf course

The spa and hotel are set amongst 200 acres of natural countryside as well as a PGA golf course that sets the scene for relaxation. That’s in addition to a variety of exercise classes and a fully equipped gymnasium, tennis court and sport court.

It’s a family-friendly hotel

Like many of the Marriott hotels, Hanbury Manor welcomes families as well as couples and groups of friends. It has a variety of activities and facilities available. For example, there’s a beautiful neo-classical pool where children are welcome, except for select times when it is reserved for adults only. Kids also love creating their own sundae at the Cast Iron Grill.

The beautiful architecture

Whilst it’s the Jacobean period architecture that wows at first, it’s the contemporary interiors that make Marriott Hanbury Manor a five star hotel in Hertfordshire. A former manor house with 161 bedrooms and contemporary furnishings which are sympathetically incorporated into the historic red brick building.

tHE range of activities

Leisure abounds at Hanbury Manor thanks to the surrounding tennis courts, golf course and grounds which are most definitely there to be explored. Inside, the facilities continue with a gym, fitness classes, a 17-metre pool against a Neo-Classical backdrop, sauna, steam room and plunge pool. There are also treatment rooms and manicure stations using Jessica, Elemis and Decléor products.

Romantic spa breaks at Marriott Hanbury Manor

The architecture, the service and the surroundings are all part of what makes this a romantic place to stay as well as one for family and friends. The opulent style of the pool and the rooms, as well as the tranquility of the location are key to making it a peaceful retreat, which makes you feel spoiled but it’s also easy going and relaxed.
