About the accommodation
The interesting history behind the hotel stems from its owner, Rosa Maria Esteva, who is driven and inspired by food, which is reflected in the hotel’s rich and impressive restaurant. It’s situated in the heart of Barcelona’s Paseo de Gracia – a meeting point that exemplifies exactly what Barcelona is about; design, architecture, gastronomy, and fun. There are 91 rooms in total, all of which are designed in a modern and comfortable way, and you can look forward to resting your head on 100% Egyptian cotton sheets.
As mentioned, food is of utmost important at the hotel, and this is reflected in the stellar quality at the hotel’s one Michelin starred restaurant, Roca, which has recently been voted the world’s best restaurant for the second year running by Restaurant Magazine. Try one of the two tasting menus, which come with matching wines, and food prepared before your eyes by head chef, Juan Pretel, and his team.
